VFW Post 10804

January Happenings

Post 10804 strives to do good things for deserving people - our veterans, their families and our community. And we need your help to keep us going and growing.

Our next business meeting will be this Saturday, January 13th at 1100 hrs. Make an effort to attend and see what we’re doing!

We just had a Pasta Night on Monday and was expecting more of you to come out and enjoy one of our best monthly dinner events! Please make an effort to enjoy the special activities our committees and our Auxiliary prepare for you, our members. We’re improving our meal service and canteen operations. So we ask you to come in and support our activities. Pasta night, Wing Night Wednesdays, Fiesta Night/Trivia every Thursday evening at 5 pm with Cheryl Z, and our Friday Night dinners and Sunday brunches provide great meals at a price that can’t be beat. NO Tips and NO Tax. Yet, we are not getting enough of our members to come in and enjoy themselves to a great meal while also supporting our Post.

And we’re always in need of volunteers to help us out - either as servers or kitchen help. Please give some thought to lending a hand and contact Bill LaMonte - Chairman of the House Committee.

Come out and enjoy yourselves at YOUR VFW Post.+++++++++++++

VFW Membership
We’ve got to make an effort to increase our membership this year. Most

importantly, we’ve got to reach out to younger veterans who are eligible for membership. Our future as a Post depends on it! Now is the time to ask that neighbor or golf partner about joining the VFW. Here’s the link for membership criteria: https://www.vfw.org/-/media/VFWSite/Files/Join/VFWMembershipBrochure.pdf?la=en

Have a great January!
