Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.

Here's a short history:

The Auxiliary (formerly named the Ladies Auxiliary)  to VFW Post 10804 was chartered on November 5, 1991, and currently boosts more than 140  members, including 90 life members.   We meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 10:30 AM in the Post 10804 Banquet Hall.

The Post 10804 Ladies Auxiliary aggressively raises funds for the VFW National Home for Children and for the Ladies Auxiliary Cancer Aid & Research Fund.  Members of our organization are also active in our community throughout the year, whether assisting at the local schools or providing a Christmas party for children of deployed veterans.  In addition to the National Home and Cancer Aid & Research, we also have projects throughout the year to support Americanism, Veterans Services, Community Service, and Youth Activities. We stand strongly, along with our Post comrades and Men's Auxiliary brothers, in support of our military brothers and sisters currently serving in harm's way. We continue to provide support for our troops during their deployment and after they return home.

Interested in joining the Auxiliary to VFW Post 10804?  Stop in at the post to pick up an application, or call the post to leave a message for president Debbie Hartleroad.

Auxiliaries serve to benefit the communities in which they are established by carrying on various programs sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars. The VFW and its Auxiliaries are well known for sponsorship of the Voice of Democracy Contest, Patriot's Pen Contest, Flag presentations, Citizenship Education, Community Service, Safety, Youth Activities, Hospital, Military and Veterans assistance, and other worthwhile programs and projects. These outstanding programs display the unselfish devotion that members of our organization feel towards our country.
